The call for mentees for the 1st cycle of the PROSPECT+ Capacity-Building Programme is now open. Local or regional authorities interested in learning from an experienced peer-mentor about getting their projects funded with reduced dependence on subsidies can now apply to the Programme.

Are you the next mentee?

To become a mentee, you should be directly involved in the financing and implementation of local sustainable energy and climate project. Your project should be part of a local or regional sustainable energy and climate action plan or similar and should be at least in the preparatory stage.
As a mentee, you should be able to liaise with other experts and political representatives within your organisation and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and replication of the innovative financing scheme on the territory.

You are eligible to apply as a mentee if you represent a local or regional authority from 44 eligible countries¹ and your project covers one of these thematic areas:
•    public buildings,
•    private buildings,
•    public lighting,
•    transport,
•    cross-sectoral.

Meet your climate goals

As a mentee, you will have the opportunity to learn from other projects implemented in Europe and apply what you learned in your context. Also, you will get tailor-made assistance adapted to your capacity-building objectives and needs, confront ideas with peers, and finally share your experience and challenge your knowledge to come up with new solutions.

The mentors of the 1st learning cycle are already known. They come from Austria, Czechia, Portugal, France, Ireland, Spain, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Slovenia.
